 Annual West Liberty Lions Club Awards and Officer Installation – 2017-2018 On June 26th the West Liberty Lions Club held their awards banquet at the West Liberty Country Club. Members and their wives were recognized for their years of service to our community. Several special awards were given including: Warren Coleman Honorary Awards – Duane Forbes & Dennis Riley 25 Year Service Award – Dave Sheldahl 50 Year Service Award – Harold Kline 2017-2018 Officers were presented in the ceremony conducted by Lion Steve Burnett President – Dr. Roberto Moreno 1st Vice President – Ed Moreno 2nd Vice President – Jeff Owens 3rd Vice President – Duane Forbes Secretary – Dean Beranek Treasurer – Mike Duytschaver Tail Twister – Ed Moreno Lion Tamer – Ron Jensen Past President – Tom Brown For 100 years, Lions have served. We save the precious gift of sight and feed families struggling to put food on the table. In addition, the service vision for the future will include vision, diabetes, hunger, pediatric cancer and the environment. |
